Pros: Great while it lasted
Cons: Which was less than one day
The Bottom Line: I'd rather spend twice as much for a high quality saw that works.

| gemteck's Full Review: Homelite 14" Electric Chain Saw El14 |
I bought this to cut up piles of branches, nothing more than 3" in diameter but mostly 1/2-1". I've used chain saws before and sure didn't want to lug around a heavy 20" model.
The chain stretched right away requiring me to stop everything to adjust it which meant loosening the guide to adjust the tension screw. I thought it should have been a little easier to start and re-start. A half hour later it needed it again which I thought crazy since I was in a pattern of cutting for a minute or two and then spending 15 minutes gathering and burning. The second time it threw the chain I couldn't get the chain to slide smoothly on the guide so I gave up! I would consider this product to be very low quality and I will be avoiding the Homelite brand period.
