| carscott's Full Review: Lenovo ThinkPad A31 2652 (2652P6U) PC Notebook |
Read the previous review because everything he says is completely accurate. I only add the one caveat of this being the heaviest ThinkPad I've ever used. It definately makes it's presence known as you heft it around in it's bag. If you're buying it online make sure that you've physically seen it or lifted it. It can be surprising. If you're planning to travel extensively I'd suggest looking at the lighter T-line from IBM and pay attention to the weight info in the specifications. Otherwise this is a terrific mobile, desktop replacement!!
The rapid restore feature is a very convenient feature if you ever experience a significant failure. No drivers to look for, no disks to load, no worries about having to completely restore the system; follow the easy commands and the system does it for you. While no one wants to endure the likelihood of a failure, it's likely to happen at some point. The rapid restore is really nice.
Having owned two ThinkPads before this one I can attest to the quality and reliability of this line. You cannot go wrong.
