If you need an amp to practice in your bedroom, at a dorm, or something highly portable look no farther. From left to right the controls are: input, bass, middle, treble, Presence, Volume and phones. I have used this amp both with guitar and bass and sounds great with both. Just don't expect to play with a band(drums, guitar, vocals...). Its very well made with plastic on all the corners and a detachable power cord. It has never failed for me. The sound is surprising in the fact that it sounds like you playing with a bigger amp then you really are. It fills up the space, its not one-dimensional sounding. Of course it is not going to sound like a half stack. What more can I say, it was the cheapest bass practice amp I could find (paid $69.99 new). Try it out if you are looking for a practice amp for your bass, you won't be disappointed.
