Gifting? Gifting is good. Stare deeply into the screen
..You will buy Tomica Thomas stuff. You will buy Tomica Thomas stuff. Theres no place like home- Ahem, *cough, cough* Pay no attention to that lady behind the curtain - Tomica Thomas, Tomica Thomas, buy, buy, buy.
And earplugs. Nice ones, please, rubbed with a herring.
Thanks for stopping by! :-)

Or else I would be buying this train set as well! We have several Thomas toys, and several other train toys. Another set may be too much for two parents to handle! Thanks for the great review, however, as if I need a gift idea for my sister, this loud set would be great!

Oh well, what with having wood and all, a plastic set would probably be more train set redundancy than any rational, non-trainnut would need to have. Unless, of course, you feel like dedicating an entire basement to various sets, all overlapping and forming your own tiny Metropolis where various forms of mass transit not only dont communicate, but actually compete with one another for space, attnetion and travelers. That could be cool. :-)

Well, Mr. Thomas, after much thought and debate on the subject (I do enjoy a good debate, and will take opportunities where they arise), I am willing to allow that you, too, can be a Really Useful Engine, on the condition, of course, that you both *hummmm* and *chug* on a fairly regular basis, and paint yourself up in blue and red whilst affixing a working smokestack to your head. That should render you very Tank Engine-like and satisfy both any purists and your niece.
Barring that, though with my apologies to your niece, a simple keep on chugging in your accustomed vein should suffice, as your reviews are, indeed, Really Useful, with or without the strange headgear. :-)

"...Thomas is a Really Useful Engine, you know. I'm obligated to do him justice. :-)"
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
- Thomas.
;-)
PS: Okay so I am not 'Thomas the Train' (much to the dismay of my niece), but Thomas is what my parents call me. ;-)

We're up to our necks in train gear! If your son is anything like mine then "too many trains" is an impossibility along the lines of "too much running, screaming and falling down" or "not enough sprouts." Buy more, Mom; definitely buy more. ;-)

.....LOVES trains! He has the Fisher Price Geotrax set instead of this one but he'd love to have more, I'm sure.
Great review :-)
