| Carli's Full Review: Interplak Family Electric Toothbrush 12153 |
Personally this is the only type of electric toothbrush I have used but I have been very pleased with it. I received it last Christmas as a gift and have used it all year long. Its gentle but very through. The timer really helps although I find it not long enough.
The main reason I requested this toothbrush is that you plug it into the wall. With most others they have to sit in a base in your bathroom. Not the most attractive thing in the world. With the Interplak you can just plug it into the wall and in about 10 minutes your ready to brush. And rather than having it set out all the time after your done you can just tuck it away until next time.
Another big plus for this machine is that not only does it come with the standard size head it also contains a compact smaller size head. I have a small jaw and prefer to use the smaller one to get my back teeth. I was relieved I wouldn't have to search down a smaller head that would fit on the toothbrush.
It also comes with a travel case which is a small addition to the package but I have used that a few times and it has come in very handy. More so then I thought it would.
The only downfall to the Interplak is that it is recommended that you only use gel toothpaste. No paste and baking soda paste is the worst to use. So that means no whitening tooth paste either. Its really not that big of a deal though...I have occasionally used a paste and have not seen any ill effects.
