Pros: It manages to play your IPod music.
Cons: It's way too quiet and it interrupts your music.
The Bottom Line: I don't recommend this product because it interrupts your music and isn't loud enough.

| yankeetiger's Full Review: Iz (Red) |
The Iz looks like a cute little, kid-themed music-playing toy. But the hefty price tag that accompanies it suggests otherwise, originally selling for around $100. But really, it functions as a simple low-quality music speaker and a kiddie DJ's equipment. Shaped like a cool little alien on three legs, it plays music through an IPod, but does so with inferior sound quality and a terrible speaker. Even worse, it intentionally interrupts your music by uttering annoying, random words and sounds like "I love that" and "Beep-beep". With many songs, this blocks out some of the finer musical details. It's advertised as being perfect for a party, but as the customer soon realizes, it's not nearly loud enough for any kind of party. Also, its interface (located on the Iz's stomach) is hard to work with because the buttons sometimes require hard pressing in order to work. The buttons themselves can be pressed to achieve different objectives, which makes the interface tedious and exasperating. One of its features is mixing parts from songs and other noises, but the finished result of one of these combinations is a fuzzy, spliced recording that truly does sound like it was put together by a child. My experience with the Iz was hugely disappointing and unexciting. So, it's really not worth going out and buying one of these. It's just not.
