Pros: Sound quality for price. Satellite's J brackets were remarkably effective.
Cons: Large sub cabinet, wires provided needed upgrading.
The Bottom Line: This is your best value until you want to spend $1,000. Beware of the slick sales guys who are on commission. Get this solid system.

My wife and I were a bit concerned about purchasing a home theater speaker package over the internet. This same JBL set was at my local Best Buy for $499. I listened to them there and saved $130 (after UPS shipping).
The carton was well-packaged and easy to set up with our Yamaha receiver. I needed to purchase a subwoofer cable to make the simplest and best sounding hook up. I also upgraded my speaker wires. I used two of the J-hooks for my rear satellites. The fronts are on a pair matching, generic speaker stands I found at Walmart for $30.
Kids love their DVDs and we like our music. Great value!
