Pros: Cost - only a few dollars more than a cassette player
Cons: Sound quality is so-so.
The Bottom Line: For the money - the sound isn't bad and the features are acceptable. Included remote is of no value. Quality is questionable - mine lasted only 13 months.

| njdevil267's Full Review: Audiovox CD-3010 X Car CD Player |
The Jensen Cd-3010x is a classic example of the old saying "you get what you pay for." My stock CD player in my Nissan Pathfinder went, so I went to my local Best buy looking for an inexpensive replacement. This unit was one of the cheapest players they had, and was by far the cheapest of the name brands, and the only inexpensive one that came with a remote. I paid $99, and had it professionally installed for a few dollars more.
The sound quality is OK, I really can't complain for what I paid. The Bass boost helps when using at lower volumes. The unit has a jack to connect an MP3 Player but I never attempted to use it. The unit also includes a remote, why I don't know - it's easier to just reach down and use the controls on the deck. I will admit - The novelty of the remote is cool at first, but after a week or so the novelty wears off and it ends up in your glove box or storage console. The left channel on mine blew after just over a year (unit comes with a 1-year warranty - how convenient). I have not contacted Jensen yet to see if they will repair it or how much that will cost so I cannot comment on that. In the past I have had Pioneer decks that have outlasted my car, so to say that I am a bit disappointed is an understatement. In this case - I definitely got what I paid for.
