This machine was not for me

Pros: not too big, rides smoothly

Cons: makes big messes and doesn't work half of the time

When I went to the sears to buy my new riding lawnmower, I was told to get the John Deere SX85 riding mower by the store clerk. Well I didn't know anything about mowers so I just took his advice and bought the machine. The first time I rode it was about three days after I got it to my house. It worked great at first but then started having big problems. It was awful! It made more of a mess than any other mower that I ever owned. They say that there Powerful 13 hp engine with cast-iron cylinder liner is suppose to make it run for an extra long life, they are wrong!
It just barley got past the second time I used it.

Whatever you do please don't buy this machine. Get yourself a Honda or something else because John Deere's are not as good as you would think at all. My buddy also had problems with his GX85 series.
