skyshroud's Full Review: Koss UR-20 Consumer Headphones
Introduction
So far, I've had these headphones for 6 months. Every day I use them 3+ hours on the way to and from work because they sound better than most car speakers
Pros
First off, they're comfortable unless it's 100 degrees Fahrenheit because it feel like you're wearing a portable furnace. In the winter, they're even better than ear muffs as long as you're gentle with them. Even so, they're adjustable to fit any size head and pivot for any shape head.
The sound is beautiful in nature and are equal to a very expensive speaker system. By having them right near your ear, you reduce the amount of quality loss while traveling to your ear. Big bucks just came back into your pocket.
Also, even if you have them cranked up really loud, people near you can't hear any noise coming from the headphones. This is very useful in public places like cafes and public transit.
Cons
They're big. Not huge, but large none-the-less. They almost make you look like Princess Leah from Star Wars because it's like wearing cinnamon rolls on your ears. The sound may make up for the look, though. Suppose it depends how shallow your friends are.
