Okay, so now you are wondering..... why in the world would a lady who has no children be purchasing and using breastfeeding relief cream? Does that make any kind of sense? Well, I'll tell you more of my most personal trials here and you'll see for yourself!
During my pregnancy which terribly ended in miscarriage at only a few weeks, I noticed that my nipples were cracking like dry skin. I was not sure what in the world to do about this.
I am a member of some pregnancy support groups at egroups.com. I posted a question to the ladies there and several replied and told me to use this miracle lotion formulated for breasts. It's called Lansinoh. The contents of this miracle formula are simple... 100% Lanolin at it's purest form! No additives! Just pure Lanolin.
I searched high and low for this stuff. Went from drugstore to drugstore searching. I asked many clerks who informed me that they carried it, but were sold out. I am thinking to myself, "Do that many people have sore, cracked nipples?" I guess so!
I ended up finding this stuff at Drug Emporium. (Later, I found it in the baby section at WalMart for a much lower price!) I purchased a tube and tried it. It wasn't but my second application when I noticed that it was working wonderfully. I was not having the sore nipples and the skin was healing! I was amazed! It was sooo fast!
Now, I face yet another dilemma. I am going through the post partum stage. I miscarried, yet I have to go through this hell without having a baby to cheer me up. I am lactating! Unreal, isn't it? In the meantime, I have leaky breasts and my nipples have become sore again. So, what's the remedy? I break out the tube of Lansinoh and start to apply it again. Once more, in just a couple of applications, I am healing just fine.
