zedex1100's Full Review: Logitech Harmony® 520 LCD Remote Control
I owned a harmony 880 for about a week before returning it. Decided to try the less complex 520 with hopefully fewer software bugs. I liked this remote and it seemed to work a bit better than the 880. It still didn't like to learn as it should. After repeated programming the remote would work flawlessly for a few days then suddenly would lose its memory and not function like it should. But would relearn with the "help " button. The physical size of the remote is not great. The balance of the remote is not good as the batteries are in the end making the opposite end very light. The remote seems very cheap and it creaks in your hand as you press the buttons. The plastic buttons themselves are way too small and are slippery. The rubber buttons are very soft and squishy so there is not a positive feel to them. The screen was easy to read and the blue backlighting is excellent. The actual look of the remote is very nice and looks like a high end remote.
If logitech redesigned this remote with bigger grippy buttons, and a thicker balanced body it would be a winner in my book.
