Pros: Healthy, yummy, portable
Cons: Might have too many carbs for some
The Bottom Line: Buy this bar as soon as you can. It has flavor, vitamins, and minerals, which, quite frankly, other bars can lack.

My very first Luna bar was given to me by my boyfriend after he picked my up from a test. Knowing my hypoglycemia (and then tendency to skip breakfast) he brought me the Peanut Butter Cookie Luna bar. I was skeptical, as my the only other protein bar I had ever tried was an Atkin's bar and it was awful, but I was also starving so I gave it a go.
It was so yummy that I had my boyfriend stop at the store so I could buy more. For a few months I really enjoyed having them, then went on a severe diet where I gave up carbs and got an eating disorder. I re-discovered these bars as part of my recovery eating plan, and they have really helped me.
I'm trying to try all the flavors, but haven't yet. The ones I have tried are:
Peanut Butter Cookie: Really great flavor, just not very much like its namesake. One of my favorites.
Berry Almond: This one just came out and it is delicious, and it supports the Breast Cancer Fund. Chewy and full of flavor.
Iced Oatmeal Raisin: Another favorite of mine. It is sweet, maybe too sweet for some, but not for me. It shoots down a cookie craving really fast.
Nutz Over Chocolate: Most people list this as their favorite, but I found it to be like sawdust with absolutely no peanut flavor.
Chocolate Raspberry: This is the most decadent flavor Luna has come out with and is the best of their chocolate line. It really tastes like a bittersweet chocolate raspberry candy bar. Do not buy more than one of these at a time, as you will eat them all.
Blueberry Yogurt Luna Sunrise: I like this one only because I really, really love blueberries. If I could find a bar with more blueberry flavor I would never buy this one again. It can be a bit chalky.
Vanilla Almond Luna Sunrise: So disappointing. No almond flavor to speak of, and I'm not so sure there was any vanilla either, just something sweet. I do like the sprinkling of oats on it though.
