Yes there is a difference between golf balls, and yes one can increase his distance, spin, or green feel, by selecting the proper ball. bdavid1 probably bought these balls at the turn in the pro shop after he lost the three ladies' pinnacles that he found on the first nine. Maxfli makes some wonderful golf balls, and the Patriot is no different. Excellent distance off of the tee, and it doesn't feel like a rock when putting. If you are the type of golfer that will spend the money for something better, give this one a try, you may like it.
