Pros: Waterproof, non-flaking lash-enhancer.
Cons: Really dippy name.
The Bottom Line: Give it a try - many clerks have called me "hard to please," and this definately pleases me. It actually lives up to the advertising.

| hularider's Full Review: Maybelline Illegal Lengths Mascara Waterproof |
At last, a mascara that, on my eyelashes at least, does not run, clump, smudge, or leave icky streaks on my glasses.
For some 30 years now, I have been in search of the perfect mascara. I love the outdoors, swimming, horseback riding, bike (motorized and pedaled) riding, canoeing, and (usually indoors) dancing - all activities which generally involve a face full of water and/or sweat. (OK, persperation.)
I also wear contact lenses when I want a different look than my glasses provide.
My lashes are plenty long, but very pale at the tips, so they look shorter than they are. I don't need a bunch of clumpy goop glued to the tips. I just need a bit of smooth color to make them visible. Maybelline Illegal Lengths Waterproof Mascara does it - and without streaking my glasses or flaking under my contact lenses.
This stuff also holds up to getting smacked in the face with rain at 55 mph. (Yes, I was wearing my helmet, but the visor was fogging badly, so I had to ride with it open, which funnels the rain right into your face.)
This product stays on my lashes so well, I can make up my eyes BEFORE I put in my contact lenses and not get any flakes or clumps under them, and if my eyes water while I'm inserting the lenses, this mascara does not smudge!
The first night I used it, the rain was pouring down, so after dancing the night away I opted to spend the night at a friend's house, rather than ride my bike 15 miles through a lightening storm. Auwe! (Hawaiian for "goodness, gracious!") Not planning on spending the night away from home, I had brought no makeup remover. Contrary to my usual practice, I slept in my makeup. After a night of dancing, riding my bike a mile in pouring rain, and sleeping in it, there was still no flaking or smudging. Eurika! I had possibly found the perfect mascara!
Fave remover for this tenacious stuff - my good old Oil of Olay.
Keep the rubber side down and the makeup side up!
Aloha, Hula Rider
