Pros: It's quiet.
Cons: Runs for 2 hours, redeposits food, breaks upper rack wheels, bottom rack tips out.
The Bottom Line: Do not take your business to Maytag. They don't build quality products any longer and don't care about your patronage.

Well, were do I start? We bought this lemon of a dishwasher from Sears a few years ago. The first one was a floor model that leaked and had to be replaced immediately upon installation. (motor seal broken) The one we have now has broken the top rack wheels, a common problem, no less than three times. I was going to replace them with the factory parts but thought why should I have to pay for them just to have them break again. I made new ones out of brass one time and UHMW plastic the other times. Other issues: If you have just a few dishes in the lower rack front area when you open the door the rack tips forward. This would've been a simple fix during the design phase of the manuifacturing process but they probably had some old lower racks in stock and chose to use them. This so-called dishwasher takes no less than 2 hours to complete it's "cleaning" cycle. We do run it at the maximum cycle time since we'd like to have the dishes as clean as possible, even though they aren't. After contacting Maytag regarding their junk-washer I just gave up since they showed no interest in recalling the rack wheel assemblies or addressing the food redepositing issues. We're fed-up with Maytag and will never buy a product from them again.
