Meister Brau is a product that makes me ashamed to admit that I like beer. For those of you who think all beer tastes bad - try this one, and you will realize that some of it is actually better than you first thought. Meister Brau is intended for high school kids and college students, not for the average adult. This is your basic cheap beer, which is brewed solely for the purpose of providing a cheap drunk (and a bad hangover).
The taste of Meister Brau is like taking an average beer, adding some extra water, and adding paint thinner. Well, maybe its' not that bad, but it does have a medicinal quality to the flavor that I find nauseating. A friend commented that it tastes like it has something floating in it, but we were always too afraid to pour it into a glass and check.
If you are down on your luck, and insist on drinking Meister Brau, let me at least give you a few tips. Always drink it COLD! If it has even the slightest warmness to it, you will regret it. Second, I would suggest drinking this with a salty food...the salt will help numb your taste buds, and lessen the blow. Also, don't drink this with a large group of friends unless they are drinking it too. Otherwise, you may be tempted to steal their beer because yours is so bad. Finally, if you are drinking Meister Brau, make sure your calendar is clear for the next day because you will have a really nasty hangover to deal with.
