jairusjustice's Full Review: NHL Hitz 2002 for GameCube
Hi! My name is Jairus, I'm 13 and I thought I would try epinions.com. My first review is about NHL HITZ 2002.
I like this game but it's not perfect. If I have three friends over we want to be on the same team we can't
because we can only have three players and a goalie on the ice during a game. The system choses the goalie. Some of the things I like is,BIG HITZ, lots to unlock, lots of AI teams, good create team option, fast pace action, and for the $40 it's well worth the money.
In case you are looking for a specific guide to all the features, here it is: You have a selection of seven different options at the main screen. They are exhibition, championship, franchise, skills, hockey shop, custom team, and options. Exhibition consists of well exhibition games which you earn credits to spend in the hockey shop. Championship is the road to the STANLEY CUP. Franchise is the team you created, competing for the the MIDWAY CUP. Skills is basically a skills competition and hockey shop is were you spend those credits earned in exhibition mode.
If you want to know more about what you can buy in the hockey shop read on. First you can only buy the old jerseys for you favourite team, then you can buy fantasy stadiums. Some of the names are; Castle, Circus, Coast, Coliseum, Disco, Egypt, Graveyard, Homeland, Moon-base, Playroom, Pirate-ship, Shark Tank, The Base, and Wild West. Next you can buy custom team heads, last but not least you can buy all the AI teams. The names are; All-stars 1, All-stars 2, Big Babies, Bangers, Bullies, Brawlers, Brewsers, Clowns, Gladiators, Greys, Herd, Pharaohs, Seadogs, Scourge, Snowmen, Team Pony, Templars, The Soldiers, Undead, Wooden Men, that about raps it up.
