Pros: Power, Leverage, Built to last, ergonomic design, pure excellence.
Cons: Heavy? Like a heavy duty drill is supposed to be!
The Bottom Line: If you buy any other drill you will be disapointed during a side by side comparison. I take pride in my tools and this drill is my best friend.

| sequimelectric's Full Review: Milwaukee Super Hawg Drill With Carrying Case |
As a man of the trades I have seen a lot of tools. And some tools are just known as the best. And everybody just knows when they see it come out of the case; especially when it comes to this drill.
My former employer had this drill on the work truck as our main rough in drill. We had small drills to get into tight spaces but this was all I needed most of the time. And I love this drill like I love my truck. I miss using it.
To give you an idea of what kind of drill this is think of the hole hawg. (The most popular heavy drill on the jobsite.) But the hole hawg as a right angle drill... Now you not only have the most powerful drill on the market but you have the leverage to keep that motor in control.
If there is EVER a hole that the super hawg cant cut. Than I have never seen it because from my experience the super hawg is the holy grail of drills and everybody wants to borrow it. And nobody wants to return it!
I love the super hawg so much I tried to buy one but as an apprentice I could not afford it so I tried to buy a dewalt heavy right angle drill model dw124k. And I'm so disappointed.. Read my review of the dw124k. My suggestion is spring for the super hawg, there is NO comparisons on the market and no matter what guys say about how good the dw124k is, they haven't tried the super hawg. Because if they did try the super hawg they would tell you they'd rather own one.
The super hawg has to speed settings, one is extremely low geared. Which means its like 1st gear in your transmission. I use it almost 24/7 I like the low speed high torque setting the best because I've never had a wrist wrencher occur in this gear.
The other gear is a high speed gear and I have little experience with it. I never use this gear. But it takes away from the torque of the drill and uses that energy towards speed.
Reverse gear is a really low and torquey gear which is good. Because you usually are only using Reverse if your long drill bit gets a bunch of debree behind it and you have to clean out your hole. Reverse is powerful enough to make it happen.
The chuck on the drill is a manual chuck that you must use a key to tighten. And it takes some muscle to get it tight. But once its tight, it won't loosen.
The carrying case is well designed. Your drill, and drill handle and cord all have a home in the case, and there is plenty of room for some drill bits with the handle's compartment.
