Pros: Great Balance, Incredible Feel, Quality Forging, Loft and Bounce Options
Cons: Quad Cut Grooves Deemed Illegal By The Pantywaists at The USGA
The Bottom Line: The craftsmanship and technology are very apparent. If you can live without a club being--- "Tour Conforming"--- it's a great option.

The Club That Proves The USGA Is A Bunch of Vindictive Pantywaists
Just in case you're not familiar with the saga of The Ping Eye 2 Irons, here's a quick history. Basically, in the early 80's Ping brought about the Eye 2 Irons. By 1984 they came out with the "U" Groove on the club face as we know it today. The groove that supposedly made bomb and gouge golf possible. It has been argued that the "U" Groove, and it's sibling "Square Groove" introduced in 1985, allow players the unfair advantage of being able to attack the green from the rough and have the ball stick the green thanks to "the excessive amounts of spin" that such a groove supposedly imparts on the ball.
Admittedly, there is a bit more than just a grain of truth to this argument, as Ping Eye 2's, the wedges in particular, were still winning PGA Tour Events as late as the 2006/2007 season. After receiving flack from several PGA Tour Vets who would rather not see Tiger break any more records, or Philly make any more Flops, the USGA finally caved, and renegged on their decision to allow square grooves 25 years after the fact. Now how stupid is that? Now that Joe Six Pack, and even--your's truly--Bernie--can make the ball do the magic backwards dance on a sem-regular basis, The Kill Joys at The USGA decided that they've made the game too easy. With that kind of logic, those Knuckleheads will probably be squashing the 460 CC Driver, and The Solid Core Golf Ball before too long.
Now if you want to read about one of the best new wedges to come out in years, and then end up getting angry at the USGA for disallowing its use for competition--please follow along. This is Mizuno's best wedge ever, yet it will never see a day on tour. The USGA wants to turn back the clock to the days of yesteryear when "V" grooves, balata balls, and persimmon woods were the rule of the day. Even though they're legal for weekend hackers, that doesn't take the sting out. I don't know about you, but I tend to play clubs considered "conforming" by tour players, despite the fact that the odds of my ever playing on tour are miniscule at best.
Quad Cut Grooves
Now these are some of the spinniest grooves you'll find on any club, including a Beryllium Copper Ping Eye 2 Sand Wedge. I find that these MP T-10's are some of the sharpest hitting wedges in some time. It's sad these will never see a day on the PGA Tour, as yours truly really got the ball to dance in several different fashions with these. Low flying spinners, high cut chops, silly looking flops, and everything in between. I see where these definitley make the game easier (per USGA Paranoia), but I find it insulting that I worked very hard to achieve this skill, and the grooves themselves are given all the credit. They most certainly help, as they do impart tremedous amounts of spin on the ball, These things could probably even make a Pinnacle Gold hit off a barren hardpan lie do The Magic Backwards Dance.
The Loft/Bounce Options
These clubs feature that classic Tear Dropped Shape face, and a choice of two beautiful finishes. The White Satin Finish offers more lofts and bounce options overall, but the black finished wedges offer the only 64* Flop Wedge.
50* w/6* of bounce 52* w/6* of bounce 54* w/9* of bounce 56* w/10* of bounce 56* w/13* of bounce 58* w/10* of bounce 60* w/5* of bounce 60* w/8* of bounce 64* w/7* of bounce
All feature the tried and true Dynamic Gold Shaft in Wedge Flex.
Overall
These are such incredible wedges it strikes me as almost criminal that they can't be used in competition. Not only are the grooves revolutionary, and the Loft and Bounce options pretty darned amazing, but the feel and balance are no less than amazing in their own right. Afterall, the Grain Flow Forging of the Miild Carbon 1025 Steel heads offers incredible feel. The balance on these is fantastic as well. It really looked like Mizuno was not going to have to continue to cede the title of Wedge King to the rotating crowns of Titlest Vokey Designs or another member of The Cleveland Crowd. Sadly--the USGA says---"NO!"
