Pros: Almost as cool as Monopoly
Cons: Where should I begin??
The Bottom Line: Buy the original game, not the kid version. It will be just as easy to play and will work when the kids grow up too.

| jeffs320's Full Review: Monopoly Jr. |
Ok, my parents got this game for my son for Christmas, and I must say I have not been at all impressed with it.
If you don't know what Monopoly is, it is a game where you try to make money and make the other player(s) go bankrupt. The whole concept of the original game is really simple - all you have to do is roll the dice, move your character around the board, and then either buy the property you land on if it is not owned or give money to the player who owns the property if it is owned.
That is the basic principles of the original game. Pretty simple, huh? Well then why make one for kids?
I guess if you do not already own a copy of Monopoly, then this wouldn't be too bad for your kids. But in my personal opinion this is just a way for them to try to get you to buy a second game that you do not need just so they can make money. The game play is definitely simplified with the kids' version, but since the original is so easy to begin with I do not see a need for an easier version of it.
