| bjcuevas's Full Review: Motrin Migraine Pain |
I have had migraine headaches for as long as I can remember. It would be a 3 day headache, left side the first day, right side the next day and my whole head the third day. I saw many doctors, most said it could be allergies, stress, or she can't be having a migraine children do not get migraines. Oh yes they do.
I was given pain shots, prescription pain medications, but no true diagnosis until I was an adult.
My headaches are caused from TMJ, chocolate and stress they affect my vision, speech and motor skills. I am sensitive to light and sound and do not want to be touched. The after effects can take days to recover from. Under a specialists care they are some what under control, now I know what causes them I can prevent some of them.
When I have a treatment for TMJ or just a regular dental cleaning I can plan on three days of sure torture without medication.
I do take prescription medication and shots for the migraines. Shots only when a migraine occurs when I am driving or out in public.
I usually am prepared where ever I go.
Only a few times have I left home with out my medicine and I function pretty normally now.
The one time I switched purses and only took a lipstick, keys, money and credit card. I had a chocolate dessert and within a half hour I thought I was going to die. I was with a few good friends and they took me to the car and drove around, found a drug store and purchased Motrin Migraine, I took three. No relieve. I am use to getting relief from the pills within twenty minutes and within thirty seconds or faster with the shot. The Motrin made me sick to my stomach, which if the migraine is left untreated I would have gotten sick any how.
We had a thirty minute drive home, with every turn, stop light or word spoken I thought I would just explode. That was the longest drive home in my life.
The real point here is if you take true migraine headaches Motrin Migraine is not going to do the trick. If you have migraines and have not been diagnosed, see your doctor you do not have to suffer anymore.
There are many kinds of medication some make you drowsy and others that don't. I was skeptical about the shots and a little scared but, you get to the point where you will try anything. I use Midrin and Duradrin pills.
If you have a regular headache motrin works just fine.
