Pros: No bad smell, cleared up skin (to an extent), not expensive, freshens complexion, very gentle
Cons: I still got a few pimples here and there
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this product because it never irritated my skin and made my skin better. But keep in mind, it didn't completely clear it up.

I first found out about this face wash several years ago. I believe it was featured in a magazine article about how to clear up your skin. It said that products that contain either 10% benzoyl peroxide or 2% salicylic acid are usually effective at clearing skin up, and it showed a picture of this cleanser. (This product has 2% salicylic acid.) Eager to try it, I bought it at a drugstore.
I instantly noticed the smooth texture of the cleanser. It made my face soft with the first use, and within a week or two my skin cleared up. I currently no longer use this product, but if I remember correctly, it claims to prevent acne and to break the breakout cycle. While it is one of the few face washes I trust to help clear up my skin, it did not totally get rid of acne. I still got a few pimples here and there, but never more than 2 or 3 at a time. I also noticed my complexion looked fresh and smooth, which was a plus. I have sensitive skin, and it never got dried out with this face wash.
Even though I don't use this cleanser anymore, I would definitely recommend it. I am currently trying Proactiv, but if it fails, I will most likely go running back to my trusty Oil Free Acne Wash.
One last thing I noticed is when I came close to finishing a tube of this cleanser, my skin seemed to break out a bit. Like I said, it was never more than a few pimples at a time. I thought this may be due to the thickness of the cleanser- maybe it was clogging my pores. Therefore, when I finished a tube of the cream cleanser, I went and bought the regular Oil Free Acne Wash (in a pump bottle). Then when I finished that, I would go back to the cream version. For some reason, alternating them this way helped out a bit.
