I love this soap!

Pros: leaves face feeling clean smooth and improved texture.
Cons: soap tends to get mushy if left in water..like all soaps!
The Bottom Line: Personally , I love this soap. I wish I had heard about it sooner!

| MWO174's Full Review: Neutrogena Facial Bar for Acne Prone Skin |
Recently I had done a whole bunch of whining and complaining about my face. See, as it is summer, I tend to break out more than usual. Not to mention that I had switched birth control pills, and the one I had been switched too was making my break-outs actually hurt without even touching my face.
So anyway, a friend of mine mentioned that she had been using this Neutrogena acne bar for about 6 months now by advice of her dermatologist...and that is had done wonders for her complexion. I started looking.
Well I have some of the best friends around, and you know what she did? She bought a bar, wrapped it up and mailed it to me! What a sweetie! Ok so I'm getting off subject. Well I could smell the soap right through all the paper and tape. Once I got it opened, it was almost unbearable.
So that night after my shower, I went about my usual face cleansing routine, and got out my Wal-mart brand facial wipes to remove those oh so lovely raccoon eyes! That is when I remembered about the Neutrogena.
I have never been a big fan of bar soaps, because I always assumed that they dry skin, and when washing my hands, they are impossible to rinse away! Not so with Neutrogena.
The first two or three times I would pick up the whole bar, and get it on my hand to lather onto my face. Now I rub two fingers on top of the bar so I don't have to get the whole bar wet, and then lather it onto my face. I figure this way it will last me alot longer!
So within minutes, as I am getting dressed, I notice the feeling...smooth. Refreshed. No tightness. The smell doesn't even bother me now, I have grown to like it. I just wish I could make my face feel that refreshed all day!
And as for the acne, well I have switched pills, and since using this soap...alot less acne. Sure I have the occasional white head in the little crooks of my nose, but that comes with the pms! Now if I could just take care of this heat rash!
