| belluzm's Full Review: Motorola i95cl Cell Phone |
This phone has been on the market for a little over a year now, and since it came out has had distinguishing looks and features from other phones. Being a nextel it of course has the direct connect feature, their trademark feature that lets you talk with others quickly in a walkie talkie type style, which can be obnoxious to others, but is very handy. The phone itself looks great and the color screen, which is backlite, is very good for viewing nite and day. Also the keypad and screen will light up if the light sensor (located to the right of the keypad) senses it is dark out. It is features like this that make this phone great, and it is quite durable, but the outside gets scracted easily resulting in a ugly look.
The phone will also support the internet for an extra amount each month, and this enables you to get games from nextel, some free, most are not,and to search and look at things online from your phone. Also if you put in a link cord you can download tons of stuff from the net, onto your computer and put it on your phone.
The major problem with this phone is its price, for about 100 dollars less you can get the i90c which has all the features but the color screen. If i were to say which is better, the i95cl or the i90c, it would be the i95cl, however the color screen is just a perk, not a nessesity. But when you come right down to it,almost allthe phones features are not nessessary, such as the java apps (the games and calcualtors) and if you are looking just for practicality you probably will not be looking at either of these phones.
My recomendation is to spring for the i95 if you do not mind its bulkier size, and if you have the spare cash, but if not the i90 is also a great choice.
