| fourhorsemen's Full Review: Nokia 6162 Cell Phone |
I am a former Sprint customer and I am much happier with my Nokia 6162. This phone is great. It has 35 different ring sounds, and can hold a lot of phone numbers. One of the features I really like is that there is this option called Caller Groups. This allows you to put each phone number that is in your phonebook into a category, either Friends, VIP, Family, Coworkers, or Other, and select a different ring tone for each group. This way you can know who is calling before looking at the phone. The phone has caller ID, a calculator, and games built into it. The battery lasts a long time. The flip covers all the buttons, which is good because on my Sprint phone, some of the buttons were not covered by the flip and got worn down. The entire keypad lights up when you open the flip.
I am very pleased with this phone. It was, however, a tad bit expensive. I paid around $200 for this phone. I am very content with the call plan and the sound quality, so I say it's worth it.
