| tleyton's Full Review: Nutramerica Trimspa |
I have been taking Trimspa for 9 days and while that isn't very long, I have lost 7 pounds already (after 7 days.) I weigh every Sunday morning at the same time after following my same routine and I weighed 7 pounds less from one Sunday to the next. And yes, the scale is properly callibrated.
I have read complaints that you get the jitters or hear a drumming in your ear while on it. I do not drink coffee or soda and take in no additional caffeine so I do not experience these side affects that others do.
My suggestion is this: if you drink coffee to wake you up, you dont need it on Trimspa. If you drink coffee because you like the taste, decaf tastes the same without the caffeine, or so I am told. I have never been a coffee drinker and I cut out sodas over a year ago. They are just wasted sugar that I don't need. Cutting out my 5 sodas a day caused me to lose 10 pounds in one month. That is what kick started my decision to change my life and eating habits.
I am sure most people think that 7 pounds is quick but "probably water weight" and I would normally agree. However, I changed my eating habits over a year ago and lost 47 pounds before starting Trimspa. I think I am well past the "water weight" stage. Also I am on a doctor prescribed diuretic that helps eliminate the water problem anyway. A few months ago I hit a wall and stopped losing weight so I decided I would try a little help.
I find no adverse affects with this product, so far. But then again, I have only been on it for 9 days now. It won't hurt to try it, even for a little while. I do find that exercising 20 minutes or so after taking the first pill of the day helps burn off alot of that energy they give you. If you don't do something, it will make you hyper. On the upside, I found that Trimspa helps raise my heartrate while I am exercising but does not affect my resting heart rate come back down.
When I used to get no higher than 153 bpm at my hardest workout, I am now hitting 160 as an average. Seeing this of course makes me work that much harder. And because I am working out so hard and burning off some of the Trimspa, I sleep fine at night, which seems to be another complaint from people that have used it.
You have to know your body and figure out how it affects you. You have to take that knowledge and decide if you want to live with those results and work around them, i.e. cut out the caffeine, or give up the Trimspa and chalk it up to another waste of money. I myself am giving Trimspa a month to see what I can accomplish with it. If I am happy with the results, I will continue on them for a little while longer. The ultimate test for me right now is my mini vacation this weekend. I will be at Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure and that is nothing but junk food on top of junk food. While I don't plan on gorging on junk food, I do plan on enjoying myself. And if I don't gain any weight there, then I will know Trimspa lives up to its reputation.
