According to an old adage, 'variety, is the spice of life'. Well, I know that for me and for most human beings that I know, this statement definitely holds true. Why wouldn't it hold true for our dogs, as well?
I have been feeding my wonderful pet/friend/companion and anti-depressant, Clyde, a healthy, nutritious product line of dog foods manufactured exclusively by Wal-Mart. Not only does my dog love each new food that I have introduced into his diet, he always begs for more. Ol' Roy Dry Dog Food, in my honest opinion, is keeping my best friend healthy and fit while saving me a small fortune on my grocery bill.
Why Buy This Dog Food
While in my local Wal-Mart picking out a new dog collar for Clyde, What caught my eye were all of the new brightly colored bags of Ol' Roy dog food. I had to go and check them out, because up until a few months ago, I only fed Clyde the original Ol' Roy Dry Dog Food. Although my pooch rarely frowned at his nuggets night after night, I was interested in changing it up a bit. You know, for variety...
Sam Walton, Wal-Mart's founder, entrepreneur, humanitarian and all around great family man, owned a pet named Ol' Roy. Having learned this knowledge when I was working as a Wal-Mart part-time associate, I had no doubt that Ol' Roy Dry Dog Food would be anything less than ideal for my favorite pet. This is why I purchased my first bag and why I will continue to confidently make future purchases of this healthy dog food.
What's In the Bag
I purchased Kibbles Chunks 'N Chews in the 20 pound bag and paid just under $7.00 for it! The economical price for this new product was enough reason to give it a try. After all, my Clyde had previously proven to me that he loved the taste of these crunchy nuggets in the original bags of Ol' Roy Dry Dog Food. His tail never wagged so fast until he started enjoying the Ol' Roy product line!
What's in the bag are lots and lots of various pieces of crunchy, chewy, chunky bits; all in this one big bag! The packaging looked nearly identical to that other brand and was even stacked right next to it. After doing a side by side nutritional information comparison, I tossed the hefty bag of Kibbles 'N Bits 'N Bits 'N Bits back on the shelf and walked out with Clyde's newest favorite meal, Kibbles Chunks 'n Chews. I saved four dollars off the grocery bill with this simple exchange.
This dog food provides nearly the same nutritional value as its competitor. It is made with high quality ingredients and provides 100% nutrition in a well balanced formula. This is basically what I look for in the foods that I buy for my favorite pet. Because Sam Walton had the nothing-but-the-best-for-my-dog sentiment up front in his mind when developing this dog food, his team worked closely with veterinarians to obtain the correct balance of crude fiber(4%), crude protein (21%), crude fat (8%) and moisture (18%).

Kibbles Chunks 'n Chews offer variety in two ways. The morsels have several yummy flavors; cheese, chicken and beef. There are crunchy nuggets and chewy softer pieces. Clyde seems to love the little crunchy bones, picking them out and eating them separately from the rest. It's very cute to watch him truly enjoying his meal.
~Our Experience~
The very first time that Clyde ate Ol' Roy Kibbles Chunks 'n Chews I was in ecstasy. He loved it! Did you hear me? He just ate it right up as if I had given him a piece of juicy sirloin steak broiled to his perfection, just the way he likes it! As I look back on that day, I wish I had taken a picture of the smile on my dog's face and the beautiful expression of gratitude in his deep brown expressive eyes.
I have since purchased several other varieties of Ol' Roy Dry Dog Food; lamb, beef rounds, crunchy beef. This brand also offers a specially prepared diet for puppies, active dogs and yet another for our older pets.
I have noticed an improvement in my dog's fur since eating Ol' Roy dog food products. His coat is shinier and looks healthier. He seems to have an abundance of energy, as well. Clyde has always had a lot of energy and had some trouble maintaining his weight. My Clyde is still in his puppy to adult stage where it is difficult to get him to maintain a nice size and Ol' Roy Dry Dog Food has been able to do that for me. I haven't had to worry that Clyde looks too skinny anymore from all the energy he uses up running in the woods in back of my house.
Another important factor that I noticed is that his teeth are shinier than ever! The other brand I was using didn't seem to clean his teeth very well and there has been a definite improvement. Unfortunately, there hasn't been a big change in his breath, but after all we are talking dog food here!

My recommendation for pet owners who want nothing but the best for their favorite dog is to at least give ol' Roy Kibbles Chunks 'n Chews a try. It's been noted that this dog food is great tasting, loved by dogs, is high in vitamins and minerals, offers a balance of nutrition and crude fiber/fat/protein and moisture.
I have noticed an improvement in my dog's fur since eating Ol' Roy dog food products. His coat is shinier and looks healthier. He seems to have an abundance of energy, as well.
Finally, if I can say one thing besides what I have all ready shared with you that will convince you to buy this veterinarian approved dog food it would be the economical cost. I am proud to say that I have brought Ol' Roy Kibbles Chunks 'n Chews into my household. Many families may overlook Ol' Roy Dry Dog Food because it isn't promoted nearly as much as top brands like Pedigree and Purina, when in fact, my Clyde has been more successful with Ol' Roy dog food. It is a rare experience to be able to buy a dry dog food and not have to pay top dollar for it and still receive top quality dog food in return.
