Pros: Scent, moisturizing, doesn't affect tanning, small amount does the trick!
Cons: Price, not strong enough to handle the dryest skin, bottle configuration could be better
The Bottom Line: I recommend this for time concerned people, who don't want to quit moisturizing. It is not high-cost, and has great effects on my skin, which is now moisturized and soft!

About 5 months ago, I purchased some Olay Moisturinse to try on my skin, after reading several reviews here on Epinions, and seeing a general " " rating.
My skin is generally dry, and somewhat scaly. This is especially true around my knees and elbows, like almost everyone else. In the morning, I am usually running late because I refuse for some reason to get up on time! I don't really have the time to spend 15 minutes putting lotion on my arms and legs, so this Moisturinse seemed to be a good substitute.
So, I take a trip to Wal-Mart and grudgingly buy the big bottle for about $5.49 or so. I buy the "extra dry skin" formula, because I think to myself, "you know, your skin really can't be over-moisturized." The Moisturinse comes in a pearl white color bottle that stands on its top (dark purple), with the big OLAY right on the front, so you can't miss it.
In the beginning, I was somewhat skeptical. How can something that you are going to wash off of you moisturize your skin? I figured that most likely it would leave a film over me that wouldn't really moisturize at all. Well, I can admit it, I was wrong!
In the shower, I squeezed a small amount into my hand. The fragrance is a flowery scent, but not really girly. I believe that men or women can use this, but it will most likely remain a 90% womens product. The lotion is a white color, with a moderate scent, and thick consistently (think yogurt). About the size of a dime was enough to do my arm. I did the same with the other arm, and then I had to use a little bit more for my legs, concentrating to make sure that it was applied enough to my knees. I did not use this anywhere else on my body, because it isn't really needed anywhere but my arms and legs. So, I wash it off, and it feels as though someone has spread a very thin layer of Chap-Stick all over wherever I put it. This is an unusual waxy feeling! I then dry myself off, being careful to "pat" it off as the instructions say. Well, within a few minutes, the waxy feel is gone (as well as the scent), and it is replaced by the feeling that my skin is very soft!
After a couple of weeks of using this product, I am hooked. My skin is not greasy as with many lotions, and it is moisturized so I have no dry patches. It should be noted that I started using this product in the summer, when I go to the tanning bed about once a week because I am somewhat vain. The Moisturinse was able to take care of dryness, and save me a lot of time! It also did not interfere at all with my tanning (didn't cause me to be more pale).
Now that it is winter, I continue to use this every day in the shower, and it still works to adequately moisturize my skin. The only complaint that I have about this product is that it can't really handle all of the dryness on my elbows, and I must resort to a traditional lotion in addition to the rinse. It DOES make a difference when I think of what my skin was like last winter though, which is good enough for me to keep using it!
Now it is time for my complaint. The bottle that is supposed to sit on its top gets more narrow until the end, so it cannot stand up the other way. This proves to be a problem when you are trying to put this product on your legs, and you need to use both hands. I have to lay the bottle down somewhere in the shower, because I don't want to have to re-open the cap again. Also, when you get down toward the bottom half of the bottle, it becomes necessary sometimes to shake the bottle to get the product out. The way the bottle is designed, occasionally when you shake it, you hold the bottle a little too hard, and it creates suction, so when you are done shaking, a whole hand full comes out, and you have to try and suck it back into the bottle. I believe this could be fixed by making it a pump bottle (that would be larger), or making the bottle more square and shorter. However, this is a small price to pay for the effectiveness of this product.
With me using this product on only my arms and legs, one large bottle lasts a long time. In 5 months, I have used about 70% of the bottle, so it is a good value when you compare it to how long one bottle lasts you. I have trusted many Olay products before, and this one is no exception.
