I do not have diabetes my parents do. But when their blood sugar gets too low I sometimes have to help them take their readings. I am glad that the machines and test strips now take less blood. That means that smaller needles can be used which means less pain and less damage to be healed. *Among other things Diabetes hurts your regenerative ability.* Unlike some other brands of test strips I have encountered very few defective strips. This is good cause it is not like you can take defective strips back to the store for a refund and these days every penny counts. Also the containers that these strips are in are easy to open. You can even open them one handed. That means that they are not child resistant. But it also means that it is easy to get into when you need to. No pushing down while turning or lining up arrows when you need to know the answer and you need to know it now. Because of the environment I would prefer that they just fill the little bottles up all the way to cut down on packaging but not having them chop full reduces the risk of spilling a lot of them trying to just get one out. It also probably affects the *freshness* of the strips.
