is that hormonal acne is helped by taking birth control pills (I have never suffered from this problem, although I went to a dermatologist for about two years as a young teenager.)
What my daughter's (age 12) dermatologist said to us is that anything which helps exfoliate the skin acts as kind of a "chemical facial". She uses Clean and Clear for washing, and two different creams (one a Retin A type) and they have helped her a great deal.
I think you just have to find out what works best for you.
