Not worth the hassle

This phone had every feature that I was looking for: Speakerphone and a keypad on the handset and base, a digital answering machine, and a hold and mute feature. Beyond that there is nothing good to say. The sound quality and reception are very average. I paid $120.00 thinking that I was buying a high end product. You can get the same reception and sound for around $20.00. The ear piece is not comfortable either. I couldn't stay on it for more than 5 minutes before my ear started to hurt. The thing that really drove me to drink was the constant high pitched noise that I heard every time I was on the phone. No matter what I did the noise wouldn't go away. I actually returned the phone thinking that I had gotten a defective model. Needless to say the new one had the same lousy sound.
