| MissSanity's Full Review: Panasonic SL-S362C Personal CD Player |
I bought this CD player to replace my old one which was the simplest of the simple. I was looking for anti-shock that actually affects the playback of the CD - the earlier ones (5, 10 seconds did not do much in my opinion.) This one has 40 second anti-shock which works like a charm. (The roughest test I put it to was listening to a CD with my CD player in my bookbag while I was walking and it didn't skip once.) Another cool thing that came with it was a remote control with functions such as skip and repeat. This turned out to be a very useful gadget for the lazy bums among us and personally I don't have those functions on my stereo's remote control.
The annoying part was putting in the batteries for the remote.
The CD player itself uses 2 double A batteries and the batteries have a very good life keeping in mind all the functions they have to perform (about 24 hours of continual play.) This player is also very light and easy to carry around - it fits easily into a parka pocket.
I don't know of any negative sides to this product as of yet, but mine is relatively new.
People for whom money is no object should buy this product because it's pretty expensive. ($130 USD.)
