Pros: picky dog likes it, easy to serve
Cons: price
The Bottom Line: Pricey single serve pouches make this ideal for only small dogs that are picky eaters. Try it if you can't get your pooch to eat anything else.

What's for supper? How about, beef, noodles & vegetables? Yum sounds good...until you realize it comes in a 5.3 oz little yellow & purple pouch that has a dog bounding across it. It has notches on each side at the top for easy rip off the top opening.
This made for adult dogs Pedigree Casserole Dinner contains real beef...or so it states on the front. Let's look at the ingredients: sufficient water for processing, poultry (hey, where did it say real chicken?), beef, meat by-products, wheat gluten, wheat flour, liver, egg noodles, starch, dried carrots, dried peas, dried tomato pomace, caramel coloring, salt, minerals(potassium chloride, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, potassium iodide), sodium tripolyphosphate (WHAT?), sodium alginate, bay leaves, guar gum, onion powder, iron oxide, vitamins(vitamin E, A & D3 supplements, d-calcium pantothenate, thiamine mononitrate(vitamin b-1), biotin), garlic powder.
Wow, that's a lot stuffed in that package...or so you would think. It's a single serving pouch...one pouch per pooch per meal. Ok,Ok, so it has all those vitamins. May I remind you the highest content ingredients are the first, so your looking at a lot of water, meats(?) and by-products. I refuse to wonder what exactly by-products are.
The helpful daily feeding guide suggests:
Up to 5lbs. 1 to 2 pouches daily
5 to 14lbs. 2 to 4 pouches daily
14 to 35lbs 4 to 8 pouches daily
Well, gee, I got lucky there. My Shih-tzu only weighs 11 lbs...so, only 3 packages a day. At 85 cents/pouch X 3 times a day..$2.55/day...$17.85/week....$928.20/year. No wonder I'm broke. It doesn't seem so much when you say your spending only 85 cents per meal does it?
The 4 or 5 peas and carrots seem to make a difference. My dog will not eat the pouches that only have "real beef". In fact this is one of the few dog foods she will eat with any consistancy.
Visually this dog food doesn't look bad. Small chunks of meat, gravy, bone shaped noodles with a few peas and carrots give it color.
Bottomline: This is an unrealistic option money wise if your feeding a medium to large breed dog, when there are so many other options out there. If you have a small breed dog that is picky about what it eats, give these a try. They seem to be tasty and the bowl gets licked clean.
