If you have read my recent opinion on Head and Shoulders Dandruff Intensive Shampoo you will have read about my hair, but I will tell you about it again. I have naturally curly hair. The humidity totally frizzes it, the winter months dries it out, it is like a never ending story.
Last year I went to have my hair cut and beautician I used had really made my hair look terrific. I noticed she had tamed down my frizz big time and I asked her what she used. She told me she used Pomade. Then she went on to try to sell it to me for $20. Sorry, but that was too much at the time.
A week later after I had my hair cut, I started feeling depressed that my hair was not looking the way it did when I got it cut. I went to Walmart and low and behold I searched low and high and I found Physique Precision Pomade. I was so enlightened and have been using the product ever since. It costs around $8.00 at Walmart and that is a big savings compared to the $20 in salons and it does the trick.
Physique Precision Pomade comes in a 1.7 oz. round small container. The container is a smoky white color and on top has of course Physique and it has 3 different languages on the product. I know one is English and French but I do not know what the other one is. To get back on track, when you open the container it look like a glazy white goop is how I would describe it.
How do I use Physique Precision Pomade? After I shower I take my thumb in a bent position and get a pea size amount out. If it is more humid then I will use more, but a pea size is all you ever really need. Since my hair is curly I use it one of two ways. One, after the shower I towel dry my hair and add the Pomade and let it dry. It molds my hair into shape and I can fiddle with my it with my fingers to get the shape I really want. Usually I just leave it curly. The pomade really tames the frizz. The other way I use it is, if I straighten my hair with the blow dryer, I take a pea size amount and smooth my hair down with it. This takes the frizziness away that the blowdryer leaves and it makes my hair look so shiny.
I love this product. Physique Precision Pomade helps to shape and mold my hair and of course tame the frizz. The fragrance is wonderful. It is sort of like a fruity smell, but nothing that is too overwhelming.
Another note here, one container lasts me almost a year, no kidding there. Since I only use a pea size amount it lasts a long time. If you have longer hair, which I do not, then of course it will take you more.
You can use this product on dry or wet hair. If you use it on dry hair make sure you smooth it down into your hair so it does not look like you have a pile of goop in your hair. Physique Precision Pomade does feel really thick when you apply it, but it does not make your hair look like you are using anything in it. You will have to use soap and water to wash your hands because it does leave an oily feeling on your hands after applying.
I highly, highly recommend this product. It is my life saver, and of course my hairs life saver. You can find it at any big department store like Walmart, Kmart, Ames, or any drug stores. Just look for Physique Precision Pomade. You will never use another product again.
*******Please note******** I can not list the ingredients because they are not on the container. They are listed on the box and I dispose of my box once I open it. There is a number listed on the bottom of the container which is 1-800-214-8960 for US/CN...1-800-028-280 for Australia and 0-800-441-058 for New Zealand.
