I purchased this toy because it was Little Tikes and I wanted to show my son at an early age that saving money is a good thing. He loves playing with his "piggy" as he calls it.
Every night before he goes to bed he walks to the bank and says "quarter?" because every night I put my change in there for him. He loves to put the money it himself. For right now, I will keep putting my money in there but when he gets a little older, he's only 18 months right now, he can start saving his own money.
This was a very cheap piggy bank and can last thru anything. I paid $7.00 for it at Wal-mart and it has made it thru being thrown on the floor a million times and even made it down a flight of stairs. This piggy bank will outlast any other piggy bank out there!!
It is also very easy to open and get the money out of. It has a big opening on the bottom and can be hard to open but then again that is a good thing if your trying to keep your little ones out of the money.
All in all, this is a great bank and I would reccomend this product to anyone!!
