Pros: Excellent flavour and bitterness

Pilsner Urquell is the original Pilsner beer. Drinking this wonderful brew makes me wonder how Labatt's and (gag) Budweiser have the balls to call their offerings "Pilsner". Not even close!

Urquell had crispness with a nice level of bitterness and a definite hop flavour. The head retension was great - right to the bottom of the glass. If I had to chose one negative quality, I'd have to say that the hop flavour was perhaps a bit too much.

This beer should be tried by Blue and Bud drinkers who think they are drinking Pilsners. See how good a real on tastes!

I purchased this beer in Ontario at my local LCBO - available in individual 500ml cans.
