This is a good product, once the "kinks" are worked out. The movement of the wheel is not as steady as could be, most likely because it is made of plastic. The entire wheel, base and petal is made of durable plastic and if made of heavier material, would no doubt cost much more, yet would work so much better. The price paid for this item is reasonable for the item received. There are hours of fun with this product, although, adult supervision is a must, because the child will become frustrated with the construction of the product and want to give up. This product promotes creativity within the child and most often, with out using the product.
My daughter began on the wheel, then abandon it for her hands and created a wonderful bowl with out assistance.
