opinionated3's Full Review: Pounce Hairball Treat Ment
My wife and I have two cats, one 5 year old female and a 4 year male. The both are mixed breed tabby's and the female has longer fur then the male. She is constantly cleaning her fur unlike the male who spend most of his time sleeping or getting into things.
Since the female is cleaning herself a lot, the worst time for her is when she is shedding, this really seems to cause her to hack up hair balls. This is a problem since we have a 18 month old boy, who like to go everywhere. So we have to be especially careful because of the mess hairballs can make. Our cat doesn't care where she is she just stops and hacks one up and keeps on going.
We tried all of the different so called hairball remedies for her and she hated the taste of them all. We used to fight to get her take remedy.
Just recently my wife was watching tv and she saw a commercial advertising a new treat for cats that was actually a new hairball remedy inside a treat. It was made by the same company that made the treats that we have almost always given to ours.
The brand of cat treats is called Pounce and they have been around for a long time. So when I got home from the other day and was going to be going to the store my wife told me to pick up this cat treat called Pounce Hairball Treat-Ment, see said she seen it on tv and thought it was worth a shot to help our poor cat.
So I bought the cat treat, it came in the familiar can like all the Pounce cat treats and it really wasn't outrageously priced. I paid $2.97 for a 1.7 oz. size can. The treatment for elimination of a hairball that your cat may have now is 3-5 pieces a day all at once until the hairball is gone. To prevent future hairballs, especially if your cat has frequent hairballs you give them 3-5 pieces once or twice a week. For kittens over the age of 8 weeks, give it 3-5 pieces once or twice a week.
When my wife first told me about this Treat-Ment as it is called I was very skeptical, as we have tried so may in the past, but because it was made by Pounce a name we have trusted for years. I'm am happy to say this product worked as advertised, it has seemed to work on keeping the hairballs away from our female cat.
I would recommend this product to anyone that has a cat that has a hairball problem or you suspect a hairball problem.
While some cats don't mind taking a hairball treatment, others will do anything not to! These are the cats Pounce Hairball Treat-Ments were made for. ...More at PetSmart
