angelwings724's Full Review: Procter & Gamble P&G Tide to Go Stain Remover
Tide To Go goes everywhere that I go. I never leave home without anymore. My family is notorious for making a mess wherever we go. So, my Tide To Go gets a lot of action.
What is Tide To Go? It is a fantastic little "pen". It contains a little less than half an ounce of Tide liquid detergent. It isn't as thick as the regular detergent, so it is easier to get out.
How does Tide To Go work? Remove the cap and you will see a white tip. Simply press the tip to any stain and push the tip down and the Tide liquid comes out. Using the tip, scrub the area to remove the stain.
What does the Tide To Go work on? I have used it on just about every type of clothing material available -cotton, knit, satin, denim, wool/sweater material. Nothing has been damaged by using the Tide To Go pen. I have also used it on other fabrics like furniture and curtains as well as car seats.
What about the scent? It has a fairly fresh, clean scent. I can't say it smells really nice, but it's not offensive either.
It is so easy to use and versatile. I keep one in my purse at all times and I always have a back-up at home.
Take the Tide To Go to the spot, not the other way around.
It is small enough that it will fit almost anywhere - purses, briefcases, backpacks, gym bags, diaper bags. I always keep one in a kitchen drawer for use on furniture, etc.
My husband and I are both nurses. He carries one in a pocket for those stains at work.
We go out for dinner often and I always put my Tide To Go pen right on the table as we sit down. One of us always spills or drops something on our clothing. It's great because we can sit there and remove the stain immediately, before it has a chance to dry and set in. You are left with a wet area for a few minutes, but it is better than having a stain that will be harder to remove later on.
There are some stains that are more difficult to remove with the Tide To Go such as grease or tomato-based stains. However, you can get to that area immediately and remove the worst of it. This allows easier cleaning when you are ready to do laundry. I call it my pre-pre-treat stain remover.
I always purchase my Tide To Go at Walmart for about $5. Sometimes, you can find multi-packs, but not very often unless you get them online. I know that Amazon.com carries them that way for a little less than $30 for 6.
