Pros: Fast, efficient, versatile, and well priced
Cons: People I work with want to borrow it (hince I carry two now)
The Bottom Line: Compact, easy use, reliable. Best I have found. If you work at a restaurant, see if your manager will order them from Wasserstrom for $4 each (best price I've found).

| dczeisz's Full Review: Pulltap's Corkscrew |
I have bartended for the past few years and this is my most trusted tool. Once, someone broke into my truck and stole all my bar tools, but I found a local liquor store that gave me a new PullTap for free. I find new uses for it all the time (use the handle as a pry to open sealed olive jars, sandwich crystalized liquor caps between the handle and lever to get a better grip, and of course the bottle opener). I generally carry two Pulltaps in my pocket as I open 30 something bottles of wine a night. This makes it so I can open two bottles quicker to keep the night moving.
One of the other bartenders has broken a few Pulltap corkscrews off in the cork. I have never had this happen, so I looked to see how he did it. It appeared as though he screwed it in at an angle and created an odd direction of pull as well as the pressure of the inside of the neck of the bottle. This corkscrew does not automatically align, so you have to use a little skill (but isn't that what guests pay for when ordering a bottle of wine while out?).
