| gmarsha11's Full Review: Pyle PLCD-CS200 Car CD / Cassette Player |
I bought a Pyle car stereo and amplifier. The amp didn't work out of the box. Wouldn't even power on. The stereo plays CDs ok, but AM radio stations are all mixed up. For example I tune to 580AM and hear 580AM and 670AM and some other station all at the same time. Also, the faceplate comes loose every time I hit a bump in the road. This causes the unit to turn off.
Pyle used to be a great name for stereo equipment, but I found out that some NY company bought the name and sells crap under it.
I called for tech support and was transfered to the voicemail of somebody named Dominic. I left a message and got no reply. I called a couple days later and he acted like he didn't believe me. He said that I could send both units in (I had to pay for shipping) and would get them back in around 15 days.
