Pros: THE SERVICE!
Cons: Valet parking not included and expensive.
The Bottom Line: Wonderful! All resorts should follow their service standards.

What a fabulous resort for families. Out of all the resorts in Miami area, this is my absolute favorite. The service is impeccable, from the moment you arrive, you are attended to as if you were the only guest at the resort. Children are treated with the same respect and interest as the paying adult. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean. The bathrooms are large, tub and separate stall shower, double sinks, robes and every toiletry need you may require ( mouthwash, lotions, shower gel, woolite, q-tips, cotton, etc). One day while walking through the lobby my children were called to the side and a bellman gave them beach buckets and shovels to play on the beach. Another morning after breakfast a women from the front desk gave them beach balls for the pool. We casually mentioned to the valet we would need directions to the zoo for the next morning and sure enough next day he had printed directions for us and had put in a small cooler with ice and bottles of water for our trip along with 2 apples. I can tell you how impressed we were with the staff at this resort. We travel often and have stayed at many 5 star resorts including other Ritz Carltons with our children and this resort is exceptional and goes over the expectations one has. It is located on the beach and has a family pool as well as an adult pool, there's also a playground on the beach for the kids. Upon arrival at the pool area, a staff member would set an area up for us with towels, umbrella, water and what ever we wanted. I think if I would have asked him to swim with my kids he would have. I left my phone by the pool one afternoon and they tracked me down to return it to me. I felt like a movie star the whole time I was there. I've returned with friends and family and have had the same consistent service. It's a great place to stay. You get everything you pay for. We usually pay about $200-250 plus resort fee.
