My Mom and Dad purchased the Little Tikes Rocking Horse for my daughter for her first birthday. I wish she'd have gotten it sooner! She LOVED it. I mean, how could you not? An adorable pony, sitting right there, low to the ground just waiting for you to climb on!
One of the things I liked best about this rocking horse, was that it sat low enough for my daughter to get on and off of all by herself, and it does not tip over. Once on it, away she'd go! She'd rock, and rock, and rock. The rocking horse is made of the infamous Little Tikes durable plastic, so it's VERY easy to clean and disinfect with a wet cloth, or a spray bottle of disinfectant(or bleach water) and a paper towel. It's all one piece, so there is nothing to lose, and no small parts for small children to pull off.
Did I mention that the horse itself is adorable? He's kind of a teal green in color, with big white eyes on each side of his face. He has a handle on each side of his head as well, for the children to hold onto while galloping away, and the seat is set low inside the horse, so that there's even a bit of a back rest for the children to lean back on while rocking.
My daughter is now 2 1/2, and she still loves her horsey. She'll sit on it and ride it even now....a tad bit faster though than she did at 1. <g> I would definitely recommend this product....It makes a great gift.
