Water leaked after a year

Pros: Gets really hot; good auto shut off feature; big water well. 

Cons: Leaked after the warranty over - Rowenta said too bad! My daughter-in-law has same issue.

Bought this iron on a referral was told it was the best. Not true, not worth the $$. Rowenta won't fix it after 1 year warranty.
