Printer pains

I purchased the Canon BJC 7004 because my last printer, the BJC 610, did a heck of a good job doing what I needed, good quality dependable home printing. I dont need speed and only 1 out of 10 pages or so is color, so I thought I could do the job with the very reasonably priced BJC 7004. Not so! The ink cartridges are outrageously priced and I have to clean the ink jets almost every time I use it, this of course wastes ink so I probably use more ink cleaning the jets than actually printing. This is my second BJC 7004 actually, Canon replaced the first one because it was even worse! I figure it costs me about .45 per sheet to use this printer and lots of wasted time. I am still looking for a good printer and I recommend you pass this one by.
