I bought these speakers because they are cheap and were bundled with the soundblaster live card. Together they made a good deal and were also bundled with the Aliens vs Predator game. The speakers and game were worth it. The game wasn't.

I have rigged them up in a square around my PC and I get good sound quality from them. Maybe not enough for a true audio snob but perfectly good for me. I wouldn't be able to push a big pair of speakers to the limit anyway because I live in a flat.

I would recommend this to anyone on a budget, with a 3D sound card. Having said that I don't think they would fulfill their potential if they could not be rigged up properly. I have mine wall mounted and that required some setting up.
