Cons: Battery needs a change, software is horrible, but there is a solution!
The Bottom Line: It can hold 4hours of music, has good sound quality, and the price is reasonable. The rechargeable battery, could use work. Software problem can be fixed. I recommend the Rio800.

| abcde88's Full Review: Rio 800 (128 MB) MP3 Player |
The Rio 800 with 128MB is a great product for those looking for a simple mp3 player. It stores up to 4 hours of music and has the ability to add aditional memory packs. The software included with the Rio 800 was unbeliveibly bad. It was very hard to put the song in the order I wanted them. And after doing that the songs wouldn't even copy! But not to fear, you can use Windows Media Player (which I belive comes with Windows XP) simply click copy to CD or device and select to Rio 800 and then pick which playist or Album or even indivdual songs you wish to copy then hit copy, Boom! the songs are on there without a problem. And another good thing about copying songs that way, the song in your playlists are probably in the order you want them to be in, since you made to playlist! The sound qualitiy and the easy interface more than makes up for your trouble in downloading songs to your player. All you do is select a song and hit play, couldn't be simpler. The battery (from what I've seen) doesn't last 10 hours, it's more like 7 or 8, but keeping your Rio charged up at all times will help. I've had some trouble with the Rio 800, but over I think it's a great buy!
