Pros: Compact. Works in almost any light. Top-of-the-line sharpness. Focus feature. GREAT PICTURE. THE BEST!
Cons: Mounting mechanism sucks! The wire is somewhat stiff. Plastic looks cheap. Oh well..great pic.
The Bottom Line: Get it if you don't mind a flimsy mount that seems like it can break at any moment (not yet though). The BEST quality web cam PICTURE to date!

HOW IT ALL BEGAN...
Okay.... I had a friend who wanted me to buy a webcam. I bought one before...which completely sucked. (its the SIIG Mobilecam/LightPro...nice mounting but pic quality was almost a complete blur and needed very bright light to see). Anyway, burned by this experience, I wanted something great.
A NEW BEGINNING
So... I hop onto epinions and notice that all the logitech webcams got great reviews.
OFF TO SEE THE WIZARD...
So I went to the store and I said, I'm using this for my laptop and want the best webcam, give to me s'il vous plait... " So the guy hands me this tiny cute looking thing which he says has 640x480 video capture. I think great, it's compact enough to take anywhere (with a little snap plastic carrying case even included to protect it) and it's not a cumbersome ugly ball (i don't need Benwai balls!) that i have to carry in my hand ... here's the explaining i'd have to do " oh check out my new webcam... this big ol' ball i'm carrying in my hand!" nope. I'm sticking with the sleek looking cam with it's own flip-cover and focus. So I pay about $100 for it because of it's looks and it's claimed high-resolution, and bring it home.
LOOK BEFORE YOU SKIP
So here I am, skipping down the yellow brick road home (so i felt) ..with this cute little piece of technology in my little bag... tra lala lala all my webcam troubles will be over falalala, right? wrong.
BARELY CLINGING TO THE SIDE OF MY LAPTOP MONITOR
So I rip this baby outta the package and plug it in... ! (nice USB) Place the little thing on my laptop monitor..and watch it topple off and plunder all the way down off my little screen.... noooooooooo!
A LITTLE MORE THOUGHT GOES A LONG WAY
Now my laptop is one of those ultra thin laptops with a screen thickness of barely 1/4 inch... so i may be biased in my opinion. But one would have to agree that logitech could've put a little more thought into the mounting mechanism (basically two skinny flimsy plastic things sticking out of this incredibly sophisticated piece of technology... and somehow the cam shall miraculously stay on?) no no no logitech.. somehow i think they designed the mounting mechanism on April Fool's Day.
A NON-APRIL FOOL'S DAY JOKE
first of all, laptops move around. Everytime i move around, the camera shifts. It is incredibly stupid paying $100 bucks for 2 pieces of thin plastic sticking out as a mounting mechanism!!! we're
WHY IN G-D'S NAME, DO I STILL HAVE THIS WEAK LITTLE TOPPLING THING??
Maybe not for long... lol But guess what? The picture quality and video capture on this is top notch. For now, i can use the webcam and make my friend or anyone else say WoW at the picture quality... and that's when i'm using a dialup modem. I can imagine what it would be like with a cable modem. So, given my very limited cam experience, this little baby stays... for now.
A REAL MIRACLE
The real miracle to this webcam is it's sharpness, capture quality, and #1 miracle is........... that it works almost under ANY light. It's absolutely incredible! I would barely have any light on, and it shows me in full light. Though sharpness goes down a little, due to lighting (naturally), and the contrast automatically adjusts to the best contrast. I am amazed...
