Pros: For Samsung phones, voice and microphone far superior to generic brands
Cons: Wish there was a volume control on headset. A foam pad would be better.
The Bottom Line: Easily the best in-ear headset for under $30 (but these costs much less). It is used for Samsung Phones.

| hankshay's Full Review: Samsung Headset With Push To Talk For All 2.5mm Co... |
I've seen people walking around talking to themselves in the grocery store, public restrooms, and airports. Initially, I found this annoying, probably because I think they are talking to ME. How conceited I am! For years I hated headsets (and people who used them), partly because I'd tried some poor headsets and would have to repeat every word I spoken. Until I met the Samsung Headset, EMP-20.
This is the bomb - the atomic one. For $9.50 each, this sucker is a steal. I would have easily paid $30 for one of these. The voice and microphone quality easily beats using my N400 in handset mode. That is a first for me! I use the headset whenever I get a chance. I've also used it with a Samsung Sch-8500 phone with the same results.
They look really cool too. The headphone has a high-end wired mesh with very well designed diaphram cover. This is the more quality design, much like the expensive headphones I own. Gold plated plug. There's a little button on the cord, when pressed, activates the voice dial (speak a user name and it calls them). Push it to hangup a conversation. Or, Push it to answer a call. I just leave the phone in my pocket now. Very cool, very cool.
My only gripes are about the comfort. First, Samsung should have included a foam pad because rubber to the ear will cause some discomfort over time. Most cheaper headsets don't even have a rubber surrounding the earpiece -- this one does. I also wish there was a volume control on the cord, but for under $10, I'm not complaining.
I purchased them from Cell-Phone-Accessories.com, and if you buy more than 1, each is $9.50. I think the cost of purchasing only one is $12.99. Make sure model is EMP-20.
